I have invited all Members of Congress to the reception.  Nonetheless, conference delegates are encouraged to send a letter personally inviting your Senators and Representatives to attend either the reception or alternatively the Wednesday morning breakfast.

Setting Up Appointments with your Congressperson

Conference delegates are encouraged to request an appointment with your Senators and Representatives as soon as possible but not later than February 22, 2008.  You should make the request in writing or by phone advising when you will be in Washington and offering your Senators and Representatives alternative meeting times.

Congressional calendars tend to fill quickly.  To ensure you will be able to meet personally with your Senators and Representatives, I urge you to request appointments as soon as possible.

Fact Sheets

Fact sheets on CWA’s key legislative issues for 2008 will be posted in early March on the CWA legislative website. This will occur as soon as possible so that you are fully prepared to discuss concerns with your legislators.  Also, fact sheets will be distributed at the Conference.
